US Olympic Committee doctor Ariel Nassim wasn’t star-struck in Tokyo

As a captain point guard for his junior varsity basketball team at the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway, Ariel Nassim led the Hawks to a championship about two decades ago. An Olympian task awaits Great Neck physician for U.S. team in Tokyo

When American athletes gather in Tokyo for a Summer Olympics like none before, they'll be joined by seven physicians, among them, a specialist in internal and sports medicine from Great Neck.

He is no stranger to participating at sporting events at this level.
