Additionally, he has served as Team Physician for TEAM USA at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru and for Maccabi USA at the 2017 Maccabiah Games in Israel. He has been selected to serve as Team Physician at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and currently serves the Brooklyn Nets organization as Team Physician for their G-League affiliate, Long Island Nets. His advanced training in musculoskeletal ultrasound allows him to diagnose and provide optimal care for patients with muscle, tendon, and joint disorders. Dr. Nassim also has training in concussion management, as well as having extensive experience in preparticipation evaluation of athletes, and cardiac screening in athletes.

Dr. Ariel Nassim attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.

His passion for sports medicine led him to Drexel University College of Medicine, where he cared for athletes and trained with the nation’s top foot and ankle surgeons at the University of Pennsylvania. At the world-renowned Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, Dr. Ariel received training in core muscle injuries to complete his sports medicine studies. He also trained at the Philadelphia Hand Center.

Dr. Ariel Nassim is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and American College of Physicians. He has published research and book chapters on sports medicine topics and presented nationally regarding ACL injury prevention.
